Our main 2013/14 project involved the construction of an infirmary and volunteer accommodation at the Eliya Children’s Home in Tangalle, Sri Lanka.

Costing just less than £11,000, construction came in on budget and two months ahead of schedule letting the Eliya children and predominantly European volunteers use this vital facility.

We are understandably proud of our part in the Eliya story but are also humbled by the way the children have faced post-tsunami experiences we would not wish for our own.
