10 years of supporting local businesses
In 2026, we’re proud to be celebrating a major milestone at ABS, 10 years in Elland. Reaching this point is something we’re incredibly grateful for, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without the ongoing support of our local community.
To mark our tenth anniversary in Elland, we wanted to do something that reflects what ABS is really about, giving back to the community that has supported us from the very beginning.
A Family Business Built on Community
ABS was founded by John Lees and is still run by his sons Paul and David Lees, and from day one the business was about more than just managed print and IT services. Over the past decade, ABS has built strong relationships with local businesses and organisations, and we’re proud to be part of a community that supports one another.
As Paul explains:
“We wouldn’t be celebrating 10 years in Elland without the amazing support of our local community. This is our way of giving back and supporting the incredible charities that make a difference here every day.”
Giving Back Through the ABS Foundation
To celebrate our anniversary, we’re releasing funding through the ABS Foundation – the charitable arm of our business – to support a number of local charities and community causes in Elland and Halifax.
Through the Foundation, our aim is to make a genuine, positive impact by supporting organisations that work tirelessly to help others. This initiative allows us to say thank you in a meaningful way, while helping strengthen the community we’re proud to serve.
As David adds:
“ABS has always been about more than just print and IT. We want to make a real impact locally, and this anniversary gives us the perfect reason to do something extra special.”
Looking Ahead
While celebrating 10 years in Elland is an important moment for us, it’s also a chance to look forward. As we move into our next decade, our focus remains on supporting local businesses, investing in our community, and continuing to make a positive difference wherever we can.
This anniversary is not just about how far we’ve come, but about what we can continue to achieve together.
