That’s exactly what we’ve built with Children’s Corner Childcare, a growing childcare organisation operating across 13 sites in Leeds.
Alongside providing their technology infrastructure and ongoing IT support, we’re also proud to be supporting their charitable work in Malawi through a recent £2,000 donation to their charity arm, Changing Stars Malawi.
It’s an exciting partnership that demonstrates how we can make a difference both through the services we provide and the communities we support.
Providing IT Support across 13 sites
Managing technology across multiple locations brings its own challenges. From keeping devices operational to ensuring staff have access to the systems they need, reliable IT support is essential.
We’ve worked closely with Children’s Corner to deliver a tailored technology solution that supports their day-to-day operations, including:
- 40 Laptops. Providing staff with the hardware they need to carry out their roles effectively
- 100 Tablets. Supporting technology use across their childcare settings
- Managed Print Services. Three managed print devices to support their administrative requirements
- Dedicated IT Helpdesk. Providing ongoing technical support across all 13 sites
- Proactive monitoring and maintenance. Helping keep their technology running smoothly and reducing disruption
- Ongoing technology advice. Working alongside the organisation to identify opportunities, improve efficiency and ensure their IT provision continues to meet their needs
For us, this is what good IT support and true technology partnership should look like: understanding the customer, delivering the right solutions and being there when they need us.

Supporting Education in Malawi
Our relationship with Children’s Corner goes beyond their technology requirements. Their charity arm, Changing Stars Malawi, supports children and communities in Malawi, helping to create educational opportunities and improve access to essential resources.
In July, our IT Director, Dave Lees visited Malawi to see the work taking place first-hand and explore potential projects where we could make a meaningful contribution.
Following that visit, ABS has recently donated £2,000 directly to Changing Stars Malawi, which will sponsor nine local children for an entire year. This supports:
- Tuition fees
- School uniforms
- Exercise books, pens and pencils
- Maths sets for children in older year groups
While these seem like simple essentials, they are fundamental to helping children attend school and access the education they deserve so we’re proud to play a small part in helping them to reach their potential.
Looking ahead to 2027
Our support doesn’t stop with the recent donation. Following Dave’s visit, we’re also pleased to announce that the ABS Foundation will be funding the development of an ICT suite at a new community hub in 2027.
The project will help provide access to technology and digital learning opportunities for children and the wider community, creating opportunities to develop skills that could make a lasting difference to their futures.
