The Solution

ABS began by conducting a full audit of RCM’s IT systems and print requirements, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, security, and reliability. Following this, ABS completed a full fit-out of the Halifax office and, due to a poor internet connection, installed a dedicated leased line to improve connectivity across the whole site, this supports RCM’s 2025 goal of enhancing business services to increase speed and efficiency.

Security was a key priority for the firm, particularly in relation to compliance obligations within the legal sector. ABS assisted RCM in achieving the Cyber Essentials qualification, a vital component of their overall security posture and a specific requirement for contracting with the Legal Aid Agency.

From there, ABS implemented a fully managed IT support service, ensuring secure access to critical systems, proactive monitoring, and rapid issue resolution. Alongside IT support, ABS also managed RCM’s printing and scanning facilities through a managed print contract, providing a comprehensive solution for document handling that optimises workflows, reduces operational costs, and maintains compliance with data protection requirements.
